About
Hi, I’m Sarah — the one behind the press.
I’m a Master Aesthetician with a deep love for beauty, aesthetics, and flowers. From a young age, I was always fascinated by beauty tutorials and exploring skincare in my early teens. I grew up with five sisters and one little brother. Our house was always a party full of energy, love, and laughter. I always had a face to do makeup on, a dance partner to do dances with, and countless occasions to prepare for — I never missed a chance to get my sisters’ hair and makeup ready for a dance or a date. Helping my sisters feel beautiful, confident, and cared for was my biggest desire naturally, and that’s where my passion for beauty truly began.
Ever since I can remember, my dad has called his six daughters his preciosas. My mom made sure we truly believed it. Spanish was one of my first languages, and my family has always kept my dad’s Chilean roots and our Hispanic culture close to heart. Preciosa means precious in Spanish — and that’s exactly how my parents made us feel: seen, loved, and special.
Pressed & Preciosa was born from that same spirit. It’s a blend of my love for beauty and my cultural roots — A place where I can magnify my craft where pressed flowers, natural artistry, and radiant skin all meet. Through my work, I hope to help others feel what my parents taught me to believe from the very start: that true beauty shines from within, and you can express it on the inside out.
“Pressed” represents the delicate art of preservation — from the flowers I press to the powders I use in makeup artistry. It’s about blending my craft and my love for beauty into something timeless, capturing it in pressed floral frames, handmade jewelry, and radiant skin that tells its own story.
“Preciosa” is about the people — the beautiful souls I get to meet and connect with. It’s the glow, the confidence, and the peace you feel after spending time in my care. That feeling is what makes you truly preciosa.
Just like my family helped me feel beautiful from the inside out, my goal is to help others feel the same — radiant, seen, and precisely preciosa.
